1. Canceling the vacuum tube input stage as well as the relay based volume control system.

2. Using the highest up to date volume control chip PGA2310 for better bass and sound stage.

3. Adding a perfect temperature protection system to ensure the reliability of the power amplifier.

New Calaf use the highest quality volume control chip PGA2310 instead of an original relay based volume system for better bass and sound stage, and adding a perfect temperature protection system for better reliability. Opera audio will offer spare input and display PCB boards, if such an upgrade is desired.
